Maude Eggemeyer (1877 - 1959)
Eggemeyer studied architectural drawing with her father, at Earlham College and at the Cincinnati Art Academy. Her work is primarily landscapes and florals and she was a plein-air painter rather than studio. Her works were exhibited in the Midwest and she was instrumental in the formation of the Hoosier Salon. She was an early important contributor to the Richmond Art Movement.
